If all this sh*t happens the internet will be a closed switch to Government use only.

at the end of the …
at the end of the day humans need silver and gold they will never be able to make it.

gold and silver will rise its just finding the right time to buy.

i still have loads to learn about how gold is sold and prices but im getting their lol

    to houseofhoops – …
to houseofhoops – that is so grossly racist and revolting – you missed the entire point of the video – it had nothing to do with bragging and is about using your brain and surviving – oh and fyi – I’m white

  6. Ne0mega says:

    Dude, don’t sell …
Dude, don’t sell that bar for less than $1 above spot. That means 18.73 an ounce, or $1873, since silver is priced at $17.73 an ounce today. You are giving that guy over $100. He can turn around on the day he buys it and sell it for $19.50.

Nice bar man – have …
Nice bar man – have fun in Aussie land !

  8. greatwassim says:

    In the long term, …
In the long term, if you set up a store with big reserves, with that in mind, this tax is peanuts

there is no law I know which demands repatriation of silver to the central bank (Reserve Bank of Australia) but there is for gold (in 1959, dormant ever since)

    Silver is our baby

  9. greatwassim says:

    A retracted comment …
A retracted comment I am reposting is simply to a correction of a spelling error

Australia apparently now is imposing tax on imports of silver that are .995 pure.

That means a 10% slap on what you are selling,. passed on to the customer.

In the near term it means little, especially as local prices are characterised by near monopoly (the Perth Mint charges 100% over spot)

  10. greatwassim says:

    notice the apparent …
notice the apparent Chinese markings on that bar

    beware of imitations

Chinese have been reportedly known to core out gold bars and fill them with tungsten

  11. lucky43113 says:

    When the prices …
When the prices skyrockets most people won’t be able to afford a 100/oz bar so the 1 ounce rounds and bars will be a lot easier to sell

  12. Ganbareg says:

    nice piece man, …
nice piece man, good luck, and sit on it.

  13. geminijohn says:

    LMFAO you need to …
LMFAO you need to quit playing

  14. cvenzke410 says:

    you just don’t get …
you just don’t get the main reasons why you don’t go for 100oz silver bars. Once the price goes up your average person that can afford they will be turned away by the criminals. Secondly, the ones that can’t won’t want to pay that much for a bar online. You have to understand what they baby boomer generation thinks. They don’t understand computers that well and makes them very nervous with purchasing that much online at one time. There is a good statagey and 100oz silver bars isn’t it.

  15. greatwassim says:

    And Australia is a …
And Australia is a mid range silver producer. Below Mexico and Peru, but nonetheless, as silver is a byproduct metal of many base metals which are produced here in abundance, it is a mid tier producer, so long as those metals are required by our major markets, China and Japan.

  16. greatwassim says:

    I may add that …
I may add that there are no minters I know of that put out one ounce rounds here, other than the Perth Mint and perhaps the
    Australian Mint.

I don’t know why. If there was a way to make those rounds, you have your market.

  17. greatwassim says:

9 days is not much …
9 days is not much time. I would think 2 or three locations would be enough. You want a holiday after all.

Some nature and some civilisation. So a city or two and some action.

If you can dive, it may be a good time to see the Great Barrier Reef. Be sure to see an area untouched by warming.

  18. greatwassim says:

    my favourite cities …
my favourite cities (to live) are Melbourne and Sydney, as they are cosmopolitan

Melbourne is my preferred city, but Sydney has the beaches

Queensland and Western Australia are likely to be the richest in the future. They will drive our economy.

There are attitudes, like anywhere, but you will find friends of silver in all major cities here.

as a former military man you may like exploring and this place is vast.

  19. greatwassim says:

    the best prices so …
the best prices so far I know of are:

eagles 24 AUD per 1 troy ounce round

    maple leaf 23.40

    non-official rounds at 20

    all are .999 fine

If you try and import anything less than that purity they will slap you with the GST (goods and services tax) on imports, which is 10%

there are very few PM distributors here

and incredibly, in Melbourne, there is no major. A city of 4 million.

  20. greatwassim says:

    beautiful meaning …
beautiful meaning that luscious bar in your hands

as far as a business opportunity, undercutting the Mint is the way

for kilo bars, they are purchased close to spot

if we see here any clampdown, then it will be on the bars

for coins, which legally carry numismatic value, then it seems there is an opportunity

I know of only a select few who are importing eagles and maple leaves

it is not organised at all

a great opportunity to corner it

  21. greatwassim says:

    you may like to …
you may like to know that the Perth Mint has a near total monopoly on silver here and charges obscene premiums

seriously, a one ounce round from them costs 32 AUD when the metal at spot is 18 AUD

silver distributors from the USA could do very well

  22. greatwassim says:

    it is beautiful

    it is beautiful
    liquidatable is a bushism
    fungible is the word

    you are a legend

I am glad you are coming to Australia
I sincerely hope you decide to stay in Melbourne or Sydney

I 100% agree..I have been LIVING OFF MY SILVER bullion that i bought on my credit card a year ago. I was told that silver is a good investment and i started buying silver, 6 months later i was fired from my job and if i havent been buying silver months before that actauly happened, i probly wont be able to even write this message to you guys online! (paying my DSL bill) lol

multilevel marketing has produced the most millionaires in america over every other industry

if you can’t do the work just say so, but calling alternative income a scam because you don’t understand it?

    uncool

  25. EVLPropaganda says:

    GDI is nothing more …
GDI is nothing more than a multilevel marketing scam. Also better known as a pyramid scheme. Don’t waste your time with rip off artists, because there are many of them out there. If it seems to good to be true than it’s probably not true as the old saying goes. Check the company out at Rip off report. c o m. I know Sylvester will probably erase my comment, but I’m only telling you the truth. Primerica is another example of a multi level marketing scam. I was approached by their recruiter before.
